Here are some quotations taken from the
Bible. I think they are meaningful and should be used as guides in our
daily lives. They are pretty lengthy but it is worth to read them through.
"Trust
in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
(Proverbs
3:5-6)
"The
man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be
found out."
(Proverbs
10:9)
"Hatred
stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs."
(Proverbs
10:12)
"A fool
finds pleasure in evil conduct, but a man of understanding delights in
wishdom."
(Proverbs
10:23)
"I will
lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will
guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make rough
places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.
But those who say to images, 'You are our gods', will be turned back in
utter shame."
(Isaiah
42:16-17)
"You
have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbour and hate your enemy'.
But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise
on the righteous and the unrighteous."
(Matthew
5:44)
"Neither
height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate
us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(Romans
8:39)
"That
if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your
heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that
you confess and are saved."
(Romans
10:9-10)
